The modern Terminal 2 building is divided into two sections, the original 2A concourse and the more recent 2B extension. Building 2A is used by the Hungarian national carrier Malév, together with Lufthansa and other partner airlines such as Delta and Air Alitalia, whereas 2B handles all other carriers. Whilst plans are afoot to expand Ferihegy still further with a Terminal 2C building, the work, which is expected to be completed by 2007, is still in the early planning stages. Once Nenad is notified about your taxi request, please go to the information desk at the arrivals section of the airport and wait for your taxi driver. The driver will come in 5-15 minutes with your name written on the paper board. Please note that the price is fixed! From the airport Budapest taxi will charge you 6000 HUF or 26 euros with maximum of 20 minutes for waiting. Please wait on the information desk, and don’t go from there, because if the taxi driver is waiting for you more then 20 minutes you will be extra charged. The price from the apartment to the airport is 5000 HUF or 22 euros. These prices are valid from 10th October 2008. This is a special discount for our costumers! This price is the same for one, two, three or 4 people! Please let us know about your flight details. We need to know the exact time of the arrival to Budapest including terminal of your arrival. We will take you directly to your desired accommodation. If you arrive to the train station please let us know all details so that we can order a taxi for you. Hungary's Ferihegy airport (now also to be known as Budapest Airport), is located about 10 km south-east of Budapest and has two main terminals. The newly renovated Terminal 1, opened on 1 September 2005, handles flights with budget carriers including Easy Jet, Wizz Air, Sky Europe, Norwegian Air Shuttle and Germanwings.
